Dr. Bryan Cain, DCDr. Bryan Cain, DC

Doctor of Chiropractic

Ever since Dr. Cain can remember, he has wanted to be a doctor, to assist people with their health and encourage a better way of life. A doctor to him is an educator, a confidant, an inspirer, a provider of hope, a listener, and one of honesty. He tries to live by these principles of life every day. In his teens, Dr. Cain began shadowing doctors and it was then that something struck him with chiropractic -- the positive life transformations that were taking place through the chiropractic adjustment! He believes Chiropractic is unique, 100% pure and non-invasive, and absolutely powerful!

Education & Experience

Dr. Cain attended the prestigious and very first chiropractic college in the world, Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, graduating in 2005. He has seen thousands of patients over the years practicing throughout the midwest United States and then in Lima, Peru. He met his wife Isabel the first year he was in Lima, which kept him practicing there for the last 10 years. Dr. Cain is fluent in Spanish/El doctor habla español.

Personal Experience

Dr. Cain grew up in a small town in northwest Iowa referred to as “Iowa Great Lakes” or simply “Lake Okoboji”. It is a vacation spot in the summer time with 15,000 acres of beautiful lakes to enjoy all recreational activities. My summers growing up were spent boating, camping, fishing, water skiing, and playing golf. Those fierce Iowa winters were spent snowmobiling and staying close to the fireplace, enjoying time with my family. Any spare time Dr. Cain had, he usually spent outdoors or following college and professional sports, especially football. Another passion of his, since his teen years, is running. Dr. Cain has participated in many running events; including many 5ks, 10ks, and half-marathons. Most recently in 2017, 2018, and 2019 Dr. Cain finally achieved a life goal of running not only one, but three 26.2 mile marathons in Lima, Peru where Dr. Cain have also been practicing chiropractic for the last ten years. For him, running is so much more than just exercise and physical wellness. It is an essential way that Dr. Cain keeps all aspects of his life unified and balanced.

Doctor of Chiropractic

Specializing in whole family chiropractic, prenatal chiropractic utilizing the Webster Technique, as well as functional neurology with a special interest in childhood development disorders.

Dr. Annie Wood always knew that she wanted to be in a profession where she would be able to help people. It was her childhood family physician who originally molded her desire to work in the healthcare industry. Her mother, who was a single mom of two, struggled financially. Time and time again, Annie would witness the consistent compassion their family was given by their family doctor.

Married to her high school sweetheart at the age of 18, they found themselves blessed with their first child at 19, just shortly after her husband joined the military. The road leading her to open her practice in Georgetown, Texas was a long and winding one! Her God-gifted tenacity and ambition aided her in an arduous, laborsome journey of pursuing her college education while being a young mother.

In addition to her Doctorate of Chiropractic, Dr. Annie Wood also holds three Bachelors of Science degrees. After completing pre-med school and receiving her Bachelor of Science with a strong focus in chemistry from UMHB, she went on to attain two Bachelor of Science degrees in Anatomy and Health and Wellness from Parker University. As a result of her strong passion to help special children with sensory processing disorders, such as Autism, Asperger's Syndrome and ADHD, she has also furthered her education and received certifications in functional neurology and childhood development disorders through the Carrick Institute of Neurology to better serve her patients.

Dr. Wood was no stranger to chiropractic, as she has been treated by chiropractors all of her life. She has experienced the healing benefits of chiropractic firsthand and believes that ALL individuals should have access to this powerful form of healthcare. Because of this belief, she is highly involved in volunteer work. She frequently serves in Haiti alongside the nonprofit organization, Mission Life International, to help impoverished individuals find freedom from chronic pain and ailments. Additionally, she has a huge heart for serving the local veteran community, as well as serving young mothers through a nonprofit organization called Young Lives.

When she is not in the office treating her patients, she is investing time with her wonderful husband and children.
