Cold Laser

Laser is a the next generation of "cutting edge" treatment available for the human body.  Different "classes" of lasers are able to treat a variety of problems from retinal repair of the eyes to surgery to fat dispersion to common sprains/strains.  Most surgical lasers are considered "hot" while most clinical lasers are "cold," meaning they do not cut or burn the tissue.

Cold Laser works by speeding up the "battery" of the tissue cells, which are called mitochondria.  When the mitochondria rate increases, all cellular functions speed up too.  This shift in energy causes any healing to occur much faster, sometimes up to 10x.  Laser has been used successfully in Europe for almost 2 decades and has been used in the U.S. quite extensively on race horses for the past 10 years.

The new units are FDA cleared for human use and require the wearing of safety goggles to avoid any possible eye contact.  New designs are showing up each year with higher power and more sofisticated technology to make them more effective on a variety of issues.

Cold laser is beneficial in treating pain and inflammation, sports injuries, strains and sprains, and arthritic conditions.
