Dr. Jeffrey L. Brown

Jeffrey L. Brown, D.C., has been serving the Austin area since 1981, after obtaining his chiropractic degree and internship from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 1980. His pre-chiropractic studies include an Associate of Science Degree in Biology.
Postgraduate education and certification:
- Certification as a Chiropractic Sports Physician by the American Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians
- Certification as a Chiropractic Consultant from Texas Chiropractic College (TCC)
- Diplomate from the American Academy of Pain Management, and Fellowship in Acupuncture from the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture (now, International Academy of Medical Acupuncture)
- Diplomate of American Board of Pain Practitioners

Dr. Brown is currently in general practice with a special emphasis on sports injuries, herniated disc disorders (disc decompression), repetitive stress disorders (carpal tunnel), TMJ, and acupuncture.
In his personal life, Dr. Brown enjoys swing dancing, photography, flying, and hiking (especially when photography may be involved).
Dr. Dwayne McClaugherty
Dr. McClaugherty was born in Austin, raised in Sugarland, served 4 years in the Navy, and then moved back to Austin. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin and graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Anatomy as well as his Doctorate in Chiropractic.

Dr. McClaugherty has always been fascinated with the structure of the human body and the complexity of our physiology. He uses a variety of adjusting techniques and therapies in his treatment of patients and his practice style is to work closely with you to help you reach your goals in all aspects of health.
Dr. Merrick Fisher
Merrick A. Fisher, D.C. was born in Duncan, Oklahoma, raised in Edmond, Oklahoma, and earned her Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology at the University of Oklahoma where she was inducted into the Delta Gamma Sorority. She then attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas, where she earned her post-graduate degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2009.
Dr. Fisher had the prestigious honor of being selected to serve and treat our nation's servicemen/women at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in North Dallas in a specialized post graduate program.
She now serves the community of Austin at American Chiropractic Clinic Austin by educating and guiding her patients to healthier happier lifestyles. She is working to obtain specialty post-graduate education in Acupuncture and the treatment of Scoliosis.
